The Lions started the day with a tough match against the University of Northwestern Ohio, who came into the game with a 5-4 record. Bryan struggled to find their rhythm early, dropping the first set 25-14. The Lions showed more fight in the second set, pushing UNOH to the brink but fell just short, 26-24. The third set was another hard-fought battle, with Bryan showing their resilience, but UNOH closed out the match with a 25-21 win, taking the game 3-0.
Key players for Bryan included Bella Beard, who led the team with 9 kills, and Abby Cross, who tallied 18 assists. Despite the loss, the Lions showed their potential with strong efforts from players like Canaan Drake, who contributed 4 blocks.

Game 2: Bryan vs. Cumberland University

In the evening match, Bryan took on Cumberland University in a four-set battle. Cumberland took the first set 25-15, but Bryan roared back in the second, winning 25-20. The Lions' momentum was stifled as Cumberland secured the third set 25-19 and then finished the match with a 25-18 win in the fourth set, resulting in a 3-1 victory for Cumberland.
