History: Founded in 1930, Bryan College is named after William Jennings Bryan: statesman, orator, and renowned prosecuting attorney in the famous Scopes Evolution Trial.

Location: Bryan's 128-acre hilltop campus is situated in Dayton, Tennessee, within the foothills of the Smoky Mountains, and just 35 minutes north of Chattanooga.

Enrollment: Approximately 1,450 students, which include over 750 students from 40 states and 7 foreign countries enrolled in the Dayton campus traditional program, and over 400 students in graduate, distance learning, and degree completion programs.

Faculty: About 82% of the full-time faculty teaching in our bachelor's degree programs hold doctorate or highest degree available in their respective fields.

Students: Average high school GPA is 3.64. One-third attended public school, one-third attended private school, and one-third were homeschooled.

Fields Of Study: Over 50 areas of study, ranging from Associates' to Masters' degrees.

Academic Programs: 26 majors with nearly 43 unique fields of study:  Biblical & Theological Studies, Biology, Biopsychology, Business Administration, Chemistry, Christian Ministry, Communication Studies, Criminal Justice, Data Analytics, Economics & Finance, Education, Engineering, English, Environmental Science, Exercise & Health Science, Forensic Science, Health Science, History, Liberal Arts, Management, Marketing, Mathematics, Music, Political Communications, Politics & Government, Pre-Professional Programs, Nursing, Psychology, and Theatre.

Residence Life:  Approximately 85% of our students live on campus in a variety of comfortable residence halls, varying from suite style to community style to townhomes, and complete with computer labs and wireless Internet access.

Activities/Clubs:  We have more than 40 clubs, organizations, and opportunities where students can plug in, including Student Government; Debate Club; College Republicans; SIFE; Fellowship of Christian Athletes; Ministry Council; Yearbook (The Commoner); Newspaper (Triangle); Bryan Chorale; Hilltop Players; and a number of professional and religious clubs, honor societies, athletic clubs, and more. 

Athletics: Our Bryan Lions participate in the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA). We field teams in MEN's baseball, basketball, cross country, golf, track & field, and soccer, and in WOMEN's basketball, cross country, golf, track & field, soccer, softball, and volleyball. Coed sports include cheerleading, fishing, martial arts, and pickleball.

Financial Aid: 95% of the student body receives financial assistance that may include scholarships, grants, loans, and work-study opportunities.

Accreditation: Bryan College is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award the associate, baccalaureate, and master degrees.
