Marion, NC - The Bryan College Baseball team faced off against Montreat College for game 1 of the series. The Lions scored first by a couple of errors made by Montreat. Bryan scored another run in the top of the first inning making it 2-0 going into the bottom half of the inning. Montreat scored in the second inning and again in the fifth to tie things up 2-2 going into the 6th inning. Bryan broke the tie with a double from Owen Napieralski that scored Bradley Prince, to take the lead 3-2. Bryan scored once more in the top of the ninth inning with a solo homerun from Daniel Dryden to push the lead 4-2. 


Bryan takes game one against Montreat 4-2.

• Parker Cosby was 2 for 4 with 1 run. 
• Daniel Dryden was 1 for 4 with 2 runs.
• Bradley Prince was 2 for 3 with 1 run. 

NEXT TIME OUT

• The Lions will be back in action on February 18th to take Montreat in a doubleheader starting at 11:00 AM.
