David Kalk enters his 4th season as an Assistant Coach with the Bryan College Women’s Basketball program.

Since joining the staff in 2017-18, Kalk has been a part of 3 Appalachian Athletic Conference regular season titles and 2 AAC tournament titles. Kalk helped the Lady Lions to three 25 win seasons and back-to-back undefeated conference records. The Lady Lions have qualified for the NAIA DII National Tournament all three seasons and advanced to the Sweet 16 in 2020.

While at Bryan, Kalk has coached 3 NAIA All-Americans, 6 AAC All-Conference players, 2 All-Defensive team members, and 6 All-Freshman team members. Additionally, the AAC Freshman of the Year was awarded to Kaitlynn Hennessee in 2020 and Karli Combs in 2018. To'Nesha Allison was named the 2019 AAC Defensive Player of the Year, and Head Coach Jason Smith was named AAC Coach of the Year in 2019 and 2020.

A few of his main responsibilities are: Video Coordinator, Individual Skill Development, and In-Game Coaching.

Kalk received his Master's Degree in Business Administration from Bryan College in 2019, and graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2017 with a Bachelor's Degree in Sport Management.

Kalk is married to his wife, Kasey, who is the Resident Director of Huston Dorm. They currently reside in Dayton, TN and have been married for one year.
