Bryan College

Shanna Chappell enters her first year as assistant coach for Bryan. Chappell graduated in 2014 from Bryan and was a part of the Lady Lions softball team for four years; her freshman year being the first in program history. During her playing days, Chappell earned academic and athletic awards including, 2012, 2013, 2014 AAC Academic All-Conference, 2013 AAC All-Conference Team, and 2012 and 2013 NAIA All-Scholar Team.  Chappell finished her senior year as a part of the epic 2014 Bryan season; 31-23 record, AAC Conference Tournament Runner-Up, and making it to the NAIA National Tournament Opening Round.

Coach Chappell has a Bachelors in Politics and Government with a minor in Criminal Justice. She is currently pursuing her Masters in Business Administration with a focus in management.

Chappell is a native of Martin, TN where she attended Westview High School and appeared at the TSSAA Softball State Tournament all four years of her career. She currently resides in Dayton, TN and is engaged to Zach Duncan of Rockwood, TN, a former Bryan baseball player.
