DAYTON, Tenn. — The Bryan College men's soccer team has been picked to finish 10th in the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Men's Soccer Preseason Coaches' Poll, as announced by the conference on Tuesday.

The Lions received 60 voting points in the preseason poll, which was voted on by the AAC's men's soccer coaches.

Union Commonwealth was selected as the preseason favorite, collecting 10 first-place votes and 158 voting points. The Bulldogs claimed both the AAC regular-season and tournament championships last season and will look to capture their third consecutive regular-season title.

Milligan earned the second spot with 136 points, followed by Truett McConnell with 130 points and Tennessee Wesleyan with 127 points. Pikeville rounded out the top five with 113 points.

Bryan enters the 2026 season looking to build momentum and establish a strong foundation within the program. The Lions will rely on a combination of returning players and newcomers as they prepare for another competitive AAC season.

"We're excited about the group we have coming in and the direction this team is headed," said Head Coach Jeremy Davidson. "Our focus is on continuing to build our culture, developing our players and competing with a lot of energy and discipline every time we step on the field. Being picked 10th gives us something to work toward, but ultimately, our performance throughout the season is what will define this team."

The AAC will send eight teams to the conference tournament, which begins Nov. 3. The championship match is scheduled for Nov. 11.
