Lady Lions Prepare for the 2026 AAC Tournament Entering as the Fourth Seed

WALESKA, Ga. – Bryan College softball is headed to the 2026 Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Softball Tournament as the No. 4 seed, set to open play on Monday, April 27.
The five-day tournament runs April 27 through May 1 at the Brickyard Ball Fields in Kingsport, Tenn.

The Lions finished the regular season with a 26-22 overall record and a 16-10 mark in conference play, earning the fourth seed in the ten-team double-elimination field. As the No. 4 seed, Bryan will open tournament play against No. 5 Pikeville (27-13, 15-11 AAC) on Monday, April 27 at 3 p.m.

Johnson and Reinhardt enter as regular-season co-champions, each finishing 19-7 in conference play. Johnson holds the No. 1 seed after sweeping its season series against Reinhardt. The AAC sends two automatic bids to the NAIA National Championship Tournament — one to the regular-season champion and one to the tournament champion.

*-Johnson and Reinhardt tied for the regular-season championship, but Johnson swept the season series from Reinhardt to earn the No. 1 seed.
**-Pikeville swept the season series from Truett McConnell to earn the No. 5 seed.
***-Milligan and Columbia International split their season series and scored the same number of runs (7) against each other. However, Milligan went 2-0 against Johnson, while Columbia International went 0-2 to earn the No. 7 seed.
****-Columbia and Union Commonwealth tied for the No. 10 seed, but Columbia swept the season series to earn the postseason berth.
