DAYTON, Tenn. - Senior player,
Tanner Everett, has been named the AAC Pitcher of the Week following an impressive performance on the mound.
Everett turned in a dominant complete-game shutout against Union Commonwealth, throwing all nine innings while surrendering just five hits and one walk. The right-hander struck out six batters in the victory, never allowing a run to cross the plate.
The stellar outing marks Everett's first weekly conference honor of the season. His efficient performance helped secure a crucial win for the Lions and showcased the type of command and stamina that defines ace-caliber pitching.
Complete games have become increasingly rare in college baseball, making Everett's nine-inning effort all the more noteworthy. The senior's ability to maintain effectiveness deep into the game proved decisive in Bryan's shutout victory.
