Game Breakdown:

Bryan wasted no time getting on the board in the bottom of the first. After Caleb Ramsey and Dante Morton reached base, Will Curcio doubled home a run, and Chris Hall and Cade Cook followed with RBI singles. Then Garrett Warden blew the game open with a towering grand slam to left field, giving Bryan an early 8-0 lead.

Cyrus Campos continued the power surge in the second inning with a solo homer, and Hall added a three-run shot in the third to stretch the lead to 13-1. Morton capped off the scoring in the fifth with his team-leading 11th home run of the season.

On the mound, Ben Zyburt earned his first win of the season, allowing just two hits and one unearned run over six solid innings. Ryan Ely took care of the final frame, giving up a solo homer but closing out the win without any trouble.

The lions stay home this weekend for a series vs. Talladega College begining Friday at 6:00 PM and concluding with a doubleheader Saturday at 1:00 PM.
