DAYTON, Tenn. — It was a milestone weekend for Bryan College baseball as the Lions took two out of three games from Talladega College at Senter Field, capped off by Head Coach Clint McAuley's 200th career win in Saturday's rubber match. Behind timely power hitting and gritty pitching, Bryan improves to 21-15 on the season and 15-8 in Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) play.
Game 1: Bryan 13, Talladega 3
The Lions came out swinging Friday night in the series opener, using a flurry of home runs and a pair of solid pitching performances to run-rule the nationally ranked Tornadoes.

The momentum swung in Game 2 as Talladega responded with an offensive explosion of their own, posting 22 hits and scoring in six consecutive innings.

After taking an early 3-0 lead, the Lions saw it quickly erased as the Tornadoes poured on six runs in the third and continued piling on late.
Game 3: Bryan 7, Talladega — McAuley Earns 200th Win
In a much tighter contest, Bryan came out on top in Saturday's finale thanks to some clutch late-inning heroics and a strong relief effort.

After jumping ahead 3-0 in the first, the Lions were tested by a relentless Talladega offense. Morton's solo homer in the fifth gave Bryan breathing room, and Warden's RBI in the sixth proved crucial as Bryan held on for the 6-5 win — and Coach McAuley's 200th victory at the helm of the Lions.
