The Bryan College softball team took care of business at home on Tuesday, sweeping Bluefield with a pair of shutout victories. The Lions relied on stellar outings from Denver Hogrefe and K. Smith, who each threw complete-game shutouts to keep Bluefield's offense off the board.
Game 1: Bryan 3, Bluefield 0
Hogrefe was nearly untouchable in the series opener, allowing just one hit while striking out eight in a dominant performance.
