Game 1: Bryan 6, Point 0
The Lions set the tone early with a strong all-around performance. D. Hogrefe was dominant in the circle, throwing a complete-game shutout while allowing just three hits and striking out four.
Offensively, A. Bunty led the way with three hits and three runs scored. Cal. Green had a perfect day at the plate, going 3-for-3 with four RBIs, including a clutch two-run single in the second inning that gave Bryan an early lead. The Lions added insurance runs in the later innings to secure the 6-0 victory.
Game 2: Bryan 9, Point 8 (10 Innings)
The second game was a rollercoaster, with Bryan rallying from a 6-0 deficit in the sixth inning to complete the sweep in extra innings. The Lions exploded for five runs in the sixth, highlighted by Cal. Green's two-RBI single to cut into the lead. B. Bumgardne provided the late-game heroics, blasting a solo home run in the seventh to send the game to extras.
After both teams traded runs in the eighth and ninth innings, Bryan sealed the win in the 10th when S. Schaffer forced an error that allowed B. Bumgardne to score the game-winning run. D. Hogrefe played a key role once again, coming in for 4.2 innings of relief, allowing just two unearned runs while striking out four to earn the win.
