Bryan Lions Baseball Tabbed Fifth in AAC Preseason Poll Under New Head Coach Jordan Day

BSB

DAYTON, TN- The Bryan Lions baseball program welcomes head coach Jordan Day to lead the team into a new season, with the squad earning a fifth-place selection in the Appalachian Athletic Conference preseason coaches poll.

Day takes the helm of a Lions program ready to work its way up in the highly competitive AAC. Bryan collected 88 points in the preseason rankings, sitting in the middle of a tightly contested conference behind Tennessee Wesleyan (131 points, 10 first-place votes), Reinhardt (118 points), Johnson (115 points), and Milligan (104 points).
"We have a lot of work ahead of us, but I'm excited about the group we have and what we can build here," Day said.

The Lions face a challenging road ahead with several established programs ranked above them, including Pikeville (76 points) and Montreat (73 points). Columbia International (57 points), Bluefield (55), Spartanburg Methodist (50), Truett McConnell (28), and Union Commonwealth (27) round out the conference standings.

Rather than viewing the fifth-place projection as a ceiling, Day and his team see it as an opportunity to prove themselves through hard work and dedication. The Lions are focused on steady improvement and building a culture that will lay the foundation for sustained success in the AAC. Bryan baseball will look to write its own story when the season begins.
