DAYTON, TN- The Lady Lions Basketball team enters the season ranked fifth in the AAC preseason coaches poll.

"We believe we have one of the most talented incoming classes in the entire region," said Head Coach Matt Bollant. "Our depth is exceptional, and when you combine that with our strong group of returners, we're positioned for a great year."

The Lions have made significant strides since last season, with the coaching staff pointing to marked improvement across the roster. Perhaps most encouraging has been the emergence of strong leadership within the program.

"We're very excited about our leadership and the difference they've made so far this year," Coach Bollant added. "Time will tell, but we're confident we're much improved from where we were at this point last year."
