Despite hard-fought efforts, the Lions fell in both matches, with Bluefield winning in straight sets and Spartanburg Methodist claiming a 3-1 victory.

Match 1: Bryan vs. Bluefield University (0-3)

Set Scores: Bluefield won 25-20, 25-17, 25-19.
The Lions came out fighting but struggled to gain momentum against Bluefield's strong attack. Bryan kept the first set close, thanks to solid play from Bella Beard, who led the team with six kills, and Raegan Malugin, who added two service aces and strong blocking efforts. Despite several surges, Bluefield's offense, led by Joslyn Evans and Liangelys Santana Robes, proved too much for the Lions, as they dropped all three sets.

Bryan started strong in their second match of the day, taking the first set 25-21 behind a balanced attack led by Lillie Van Metre with 13 kills. The Lions showed determination and energy but struggled to maintain consistency in the following sets. Spartanburg Methodist's Brantlie Price and Makinnley Smart spearheaded the opposition's offense, leading to a 3-1 loss for the Lions.
