Bryan Men’s Soccer Secures 1-0 Victory Over Reinhardt

The Bryan College men's soccer team earned a well-fought 1-0 victory over Reinhardt University on the road, with an early goal by James Mitchell making the difference. Bryan displayed solid teamwork, supported by an impressive showing from goalkeeper Jack Smith, who tallied five saves.

First Half:

The match kicked off with Bryan pushing the pace early. In the 10th minute, James Mitchell found the back of the net with an assist from Cesar Castro, giving Bryan the crucial 1-0 lead. Reinhardt attempted to respond quickly, but Jack Smith came up with two key saves, keeping Bryan ahead.
Bryan continued to press offensively, with shots from Joshua Hernandez and Beckham Davidson, but Reinhardt's goalkeeper, Allan Tercjak, was sharp, denying several attempts. The first half closed with Bryan holding onto their 1-0 lead despite Reinhardt's efforts to equalize.

Second Half:

In the second half, both teams battled for control. Reinhardt applied pressure, earning several corner kicks, but Bryan's defense held firm. Smith made crucial saves against Hayden Adams and Eber Sosa, preventing Reinhardt from breaking through.
Bryan nearly extended their lead, with shots from Cesar Castro and Joshua Hernandez being stopped by Tercjak. Late in the match, Reinhardt made a final push, but Smith came up big again, including a save on a header by John Simmons in the 73rd minute.
Despite Reinhardt's relentless attacks, Bryan's defense remained solid, holding on for the 1-0 victory.
