Game Recap: Women's Soccer |

Bryan Women's Soccer Falls to Reinhardt, 3-0

The Bryan College women's soccer team was unable to break through against Reinhardt University, falling 3-0 in a tough road contest. Despite a strong effort in goal from Morgan Pankratz, who tallied 12 saves, Reinhardt's offense proved too much for the Lions to handle.

First Half:

Reinhardt applied early pressure, forcing Pankratz into action just minutes into the match. The Bryan defense held strong until the 24th minute, when Reinhardt's Belle Seward broke through with the game's first goal, putting the Eagles up 1-0. Despite several more attempts from Reinhardt, Bryan managed to keep the deficit to one heading into halftime, thanks to Pankratz's six saves.
Bryan's only shot in the first half came in the 41st minute from Danae Bates, but it was saved by Reinhardt's goalkeeper, Reagan Horton.

Second Half:

Reinhardt wasted no time adding to their lead in the second half, as Seward scored her second goal in the 47th minute, assisted by Sarah Taylor. Just over ten minutes later, Taylor found the back of the net herself in the 59th minute, giving Reinhardt a commanding 3-0 lead.
While Bryan worked hard to create chances, they managed only one more shot on goal in the second half, a 55th-minute effort from Carmen Verdel that was saved by Horton.
Reinhardt continued to press throughout the remainder of the match, but Bryan's defense, led by Pankratz, prevented further damage.
