Bryan Women's Soccer Draws 2-2 Against Bluefield

The Bryan College women's soccer team fought to a 2-2 draw against Bluefield University in a road match on September 14, 2024. After taking a two-goal lead in the second half, the Lions were unable to hold off a late surge from Bluefield, who scored twice in the final 10 minutes.

  • 51:59 – Gavynn Davis opened the scoring for Bryan with an unassisted goal, putting the Lions ahead 1-0.
  • 58:51 – Jadra Martinez doubled Bryan's lead with another unassisted goal, making it 2-0.
  • 83:29 – Bluefield's Joanna Lemus pulled one back for the home team, assisted by Macy McBride, cutting the lead to 2-1.
