Cleveland, TN - The Lions kept their stride in the distance races this weekend at the Lee University Invitational in Cleveland, TN. Edimo Nintereste took 1st overall Friday night in the 10K with a time of 31:01.54. He was followed up by his teammate Eli Moran who finished 3rd with a time of 31:14.47. Elena Irwin also performed well earning an AAC Conference qualifying time with her 44:34.37 in the 10K as well. 


Notable Performance

Carissa Wilson had a busy day competing.

• Javelin Throw: 11th place with a 25.87m 
• Long Jump: 22nd with 3.51 meters
• Women's 1500: 37th place with a time of 5:19.34

Anna Driller finished 28th in the 800m
Matthew Sinclair also had a nice day finishing 14th in the 10K with a time of 33:30.36. 
Aidan Adams and Logan Babb finished 10th and 15th in the Men's 110 Hurdles. 
Jacob Brabson finished 28th in a highly competitive 400m field with a 52.70.
