Columbia, KY - The Bryan College Lions Baseball team traveled up to Columbia, KY to take on the Lindsey Wilson Blue Raiders Wednesday night. The Lions had a great day hitting, racking up 12 hits with four players each nabbing 2 RBIs.

The first two innings were controlled at the mound. Both teams going scoreless, until Bryan struck first in the top of the 3rd with a Devin Ogg RBI double that brought in Darwin Gregg to give Bryan the 1-0 lead. The Blue Raiders would even it up and the back half of the 3rd with a sacrifice fly.


A Logan Stradley solo home run in the top 4th would give the Lions a 2-1  lead, a lead they would not relinquish. The Lions would have a big 6th inning that began with a Bryson Lofton 2 RBI double that brought in Tyler Cullen and Cade Cook. After a few wild pitches Lofton would eventually score himself, giving Bryan a 6-1 lead. 

Cade Cook and Daniel Dryden would top off the Lions scoring for the night in the top 7th. Cook hit a two run homer that brought in Bradley Prince with him. Then Dryden's double to left would bring in Darwin Gregg and Tyler Cullen. Giving the Lions a 10-1 lead going into the 8th. Despite a flurry of runs in the final two innings from Lindsey Wilson, the Lions held on and took the 10-6 Win. 


Next Time out: 
The Lions will be back home at Senter Field Thursday & Saturday 3/14 & 3/16  for a conference series vs. Truett McConnell. Thursday will be a doubleheader beginning at 1:00 PM. Saturday being a solo game beginning at 2:00 PM.
