Game Recap: Men's Basketball |

Lions Struggle To Find Rhythm on the Road; Lose 64-48

Grayson, KY - Having won 6 of their last 7; the Bryan College Men's Basketball team entered Saturday's game looking to continue trending in the right direction. However, the Lions were met by a middling Kentucky Christian squad with other ideas. The game began with a 5-0 start in favor of the away team. Despite the start, the rest of the half would favor KCU in almost every facet of the game.

A layup from Sophomore Josh Baugher tied the game at 7-7 (13:48). This would be the last time that Bryan would have or share the lead in the entire ballgame. After the bucket Kentucky CU
Lemar Northington: 21 Pts, 5 Reb
RChrstian began a 14-0 run only ending with another layup from Sophomore Kheller Dié (4:27). The rest of the first half was pretty unyielding for the Lions as they entered the half down 31-11.

As the second half began, the Lions showed signs of life on the offensive side of the ball. However, they were unable to get the stops required on an unrelenting KCU attack. Two free throws for Sophomore Logan Allen cut the lead to 37-23 and that was as close as the game would get. After an Allen layup, Head Coach Don Rekoske emptied the bench and let them close out the game. Kentucky Christian grabbed their 4th conference win with a 64-48 Knights victory.
