Dayton, TN-  The Bryan College Men's Basketball were back home Tuesday night against the  University of Pikeville Bears. With the Lions unable to contain the Bears, Bryan falls 93-64 to Upike. 

The Lions looked ready to compete early taking an early 4-3 lead on a layup by Ian Johnson with 17:27 left in the first, but UPike responded, going on a 19-5 run to take a grasp on the game. The Lions couldn't contain the Bears from behind the arc as UPike went 8-15 from three in the first half. 

Senior Ian Johnson tried to keep Bryan in it. Johnson came out in the 2nd half with a quick 5 points out of the gate followed by a huge Dalen Gales tip in to cut the lead to 49-40. But after the surge by the Lions, it was all Bears down the stretch. The Lions eventually took the 93-64 loss. 

The Lions falls to 6-8 overall and 4-7 in the AAC. UPike goes to 11-4 overall and 9-2 in conference.

The Lions will be at home Thursday 1/4 at 4:00 PM in Dayton, TN to matchup against Bluefield University.
