Bluefield, VA  -  The Bryan College Softball team traveled to Virginia to take on Bluefield University in a doubleheader. For game 1, the Lady Lions scored in the second inning with a single by Carli LaRocque that scored Aubree Presley. In the 3rd inning, Lily Taylor doubled advancing Cali Green to 3rd and scoring Denver Hogrefe. Aubree Presley reached 1st on an error and scored both Lily Taylor and Cali Green. Breanna Bumgardner reached 1st on an error and scored Aubree Presley. Haley Stahl singled bringing in Breanna Bumgardner.
Ariel Holt doubled bringing in Carli LaRocque to put the Lions up 7-0 in the 3rd inning. Starting in the 4th inning, Haley Stahl singled advancing Breanna Bumgardner to 3rd and scored Aubree Presley and Stephanie Blevins to extend the Lion lead to 9-0. 


For game 2, the Lady Lions scored 14 runs to take game 2 and win by a score of 15-5. The Lady Lions sweep Bluefield. 
 

• Haley Stahl went 2 for 3 with 3 RBIs.
• Lily Taylor went 2 for 3 with 1 run and 1 RBI.
• Aubree Presley went 1 for 3 with 3 runs and 1 RBI.

• The Lady Lions will be back in action on April 19th to take on Johnson.
