Dayton, TN -  The Bryan College Softball team took on CIU on Wednesday afternoon. Bryan jumped on top first in the bottom of the second inning with a double by Ariel Holt that scored Lily Taylor and Breanna Bumgardner to put the Lions up 2-0 early in the game. In the bottom of the third inning Lily Taylor flied out to centerfield but was able to score Aubree Presley to extend the Lion lead. Bryan takes game 1 of the series with a score of 3-0. 

For game 2, CIU struck first in top of the first inning to put the Rams up 1-0. Bryan responded in the bottom half of the inning. Haley Stahl lined out advancing Aubree Presley to third and scoring Katie Dinger. CIU regains the lead in the top of the second inning to put the Rams up by 2. Bryan is able to respond again with a double by Aubree Presley scoring Stephanie Blevins and Jade Richards to tie the game at 3. CIU jumps on top again in the fifth inning to go up 6-3. Bryan responds in the bottom of the sixth inning with a single by LaRocque advancing Lily Taylor to third and scoring Breanna Bumgardner. Ariel Holt reached on a fielder's choice advancing Lily Taylor to score to cut the lead to 1 but still trail 6-5. In the bottom of the seventh inning Katie Dinger advanced to third on a passed ball while Stephanie Blevins brought in the tying run. Haley Stahl singled advancing Presley to second and scoring Katie Dinger to win the game 7-6 and take the series.

• Aubree Presley went 1 for 3 with 1 run.
• Ariel Holt went 1 for 3 with 2 RBIs.

• Aubree Presley went 3 for 3 with 2 RBIs.
• Carli LaRocque went 2 for 3 with 1 RBI.
• Haley Stahl went 1 for 4 with 2 RBIs.

• Bryan will be back in action to take on St, Andrews in a doubleheader on March 10th starting at 1:00 PM.
