Dayton, TN -  The Bryan College Softball team took on Union College in a doubleheader that began at 4:00. For game 1, Carli LaRocque singled in the bottom of the second inning bringing in Breanna Bumgardner. Union would score in the third inning to go up 3-1. Ariel Holt reached on a fielder's choice that brought home Carli LaRocque and Lily Taylor to tie the game at 3. Union scored in the fifth inning to take the lead again but the Lions responded in the bottom half with a double from Haley Stahl that scored Aubree Presley and Katie Dinger. Bryan would score two more times in the fifth to go up 7-4 going into the sixth inning. In the bottom of the sixth, LaRocque singled bringing in Taylor and Twitty. Denver Hogrefe singled bringing in Carli LaRocque. Katie Dinger singled bringing in Hogrefe and Vanessa Hart putting the Lady Lions up 12-4. 

For game 2, the Lions struck first in the bottom of the third inning with a single from Katie Dinger that scored Ashley Twitty. Stephanie Blevins singled in the fifth inning bringing in Ariel Holt. Haley Stahl reached on a fielder's choice advancing Aubree Presley to second and scoring Blevins. The Lions head into the top of the sixth inning with a 3-0 lead. Union scored in the top of the seventh inning cutting the lead to 1 run but were unable to pull the win. The Lady Lions win 3-2 over Union in game 2 and sweep the Bulldogs.

• Carli LaRocque went 3 for 4 with 2 runs and 3 RBIs.
• Katie Dinger went 2 for 5 with 1 run and 2 RBIs.
• Haley Stahl went 1 for 4 with 1 run and 2 RBIs. 

INSIDE THE BOX - GAME 2

• Katie Thompson pitched 7 innings only allowing 1 hit. 
• Stephanie Blevins went 1 for 3 with 1 run and 1 RBI.
• Katie Dinger went 1 for 3 with 1 RBI. 

• Bryan will be back in action to take on TWU on March 30th at 5:00 and 7:00 PM.
