West Point, GA -  The Bryan College Baseball team took on Point University on the road for game one of the weekend series starting on Thursday and continuing on Saturday. Bryan started things out with a solo homerun in the top of the second inning by Devin Ogg. Point would quickly respond in the bottom half of the inning to go up 2-1. Point would score again in the bottom of the third inning to go up 3-1 over the Lions. Bryan would not respond until the fifth inning starting with a single by Bryson Lofton to advance Parker Cosby to third and score Dante Morton and Danny Marquez. Owen Napieralski would double to advance Lofton to third and bring home Cosby to take a 4-3 lead going into the bottom half of the fifth inning. 

Point would respond in the bottom half of the inning to retake the lead 6-4. In the bottom of the sixth inning Point would extend their lead to 4 going up 8-4 over the Lions. Bryan would fight back starting with a Parker Cosby solo homerun. Dryden would hit out at first but would advance Napieralski to second and score Lofton to cut the lead down to 2 to trail 6-8. In the top of the ninth inning Owen Napieralski flied out to right field but was able to bring in Cosby for 1 run to cut the lead 7-8. The Lions were unable to pull out the win and fall on the road 7-8.

• Bryson Lofton went 3 for 5 with 1 run and 2 RBIs.
• Owen Napieralski went 3 for 4 with 2 RBIs.
• Parker Cosby went 2 for 4 with 3 runs and 1 RBI.

• Bryan will be back in action to take on Point for a doubleheader at 1:00 and 4:00 PM on March 18th.
