Dayton, TN - The Bryan College Women's Soccer took the pitch for Senior Day Saturday in a match up against the Montreat College Cavaliers.  The Lady Lions took a tough 3-0 loss to finish out the 2023 Regular season. 

Despite the Lady Lions early defensive pressure, Montreat scored in the 27th minute to take a 1-0 lead. Alyssa Karnes made 4 saves in the first half as Montreat put 7 shots on the Lions defense. But it was another 41st minute goal that gave Montreat a 2-0 half time lead. In the second half the Lions tried to turn the tide putting on 2 shots, but to no avail. Montreat put in 1 more goal in the 84th minute to close out the 3-0 Bryan loss.
The Lady Lions go to 7-9-1 overall and  6-7-1 in conference to earn the #8 seed in the conference tournament.

Next Time Out
The Lady Lions are set to host the opening round of the AAC conference tournament Tuesday Night Oct. 31, in a rematch against Brenau University. This will be an #8 vs. #9 matchup. The winner will head to Tennessee Wesleyan Saturday.
