Nick Roberts is a graduate student currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Sports Management. He previously earned his bachelor's degree in History with a focus on Secondary Education, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a 3.86 GPA. As a four-year varsity player at Bryan College under Coach Rekoske, Nick demonstrated leadership both on and off the court. He was a member of the team’s leadership council and was recognized as one of the conference’s Champions of Character for the 2023-2024 season.
With a passion for basketball and education, Nick plans to leverage his academic background to build a career in coaching, teaching, and basketball management. Transitioning from player to coach, he brings a unique skill set that Coach Rekoske values highly. Nick is expected to play a significant role in shaping the team’s offensive strategies.
A native of Maryville, Tennessee, Nick is an alumnus of Alcoa High School. He is the son of Todd and Kelly Roberts and the older brother to Natalie. In addition to his academic and athletic pursuits, Nick is the commissioner and founder of the Josh Livingston Summer League in Blount County, which he established to honor his late cousin. Over the past three summers, this league has provided more than 250 college-age players with the opportunity to engage in structured basketball within a Christ-centered environment.
In his free time, Nick enjoys playing golf, cheering for the Alabama Crimson Tide, and spending quality time with friends.
