Clint A. Cantrell is a retired Special Agent with 25 years of federal law enforcement experience and now serves full-time as Chair of the Criminal Justice Department at Bryan College. He also directs and coaches the Lion 10-8 Association, an academic and competitive firearms training and leadership development program.
Cantrell began his public service career in 1988 as a U.S. Air Force firefighter and later transitioned into federal law enforcement after earning his commission and serving with the Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI). He eventually joined Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) following the formation of the Department of Homeland Security, where he conducted and led complex investigations in national security, human trafficking, child exploitation, narcotics, and cybercrime.
With a deep background in digital forensics and cyber investigations, Cantrell held multiple advanced certifications and served in both field and leadership roles throughout his career. His approach to teaching is shaped by real-world operational experience and a commitment to equipping students for success in law enforcement, intelligence, and related fields.
At Bryan College, Cantrell integrates faith, academics, and physical readiness to prepare students not only for professional excellence but also for lives of integrity and service. Prior to joining Bryan full-time, he also taught as an adjunct professor at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Communications and a Master of Arts in Psychology from the University of Tennessee, along with a Master of Science in Digital Forensic Science from Champlain College.
