The 2021 season will be Shadoan’s fourth season as the assistant coach for the Bryan College Volleyball program. He also serves as the Head Coach for the JV team.

Last season, Coach Nate led the Lady Lions to their most successful season on the court in her coaching career. They finished with an 18-6 overall record and a 17-2 in the AAC for a share of the Regular Season Championship. Abby Rector was named AAC Freshman of the Year, an AAC All-Conference First Team member, and an AVCA All-Region Honoree. Shirah Foor was selected to the All-AAC Second Team and nine Lady Lions received AAC All-Academic Team honors. Coach Day was named AAC Coach of the Year as well as AVCA All-Region Coach of the Year.

In the 2019 season, the team finished with a 20-13 overall record and 13-7 in the AAC for third in the North Division. Rheagan Kean was awarded All-AAC 2nd Team and AAC Defender of the Week five times throughout the season. Gigi Ford was selected to the AAC All-Freshman team, and 11 Lions made AAC All-Academic team honors. 

During the 2018 season, the Lady Lions finished the year 11-19 overall and 7-12 in conference play, ranking 7th in the conference's North Division standings. The Bryan College volleyball team had five players named 2018 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes,  one player awarded AAC champion of character, and eight lions made AAC ALL-Academic team honors.

During the 2017 season, Shadoan helped guide the Lady Lions to a fifth place finish in the North Division conference standings. The Lady Lions named one player as AAC Second Team All-Conference, and another player earned a spot on the AAC All-Freshmen Team. Seven members from the Lion's team also earned All-Academic honors.

Shadoan also played a vital role on the former Bryan College Men’s Volleyball team, where the Somerset, Ky. native co-captained the Lions during his 4-year stint with the squad. Over the course of his time with the Lions, he showed extreme versatility by playing as a right-side defensive specialist, setter, an outside/opposite hitter, and middle blocker.

He has received his Master's Degree at Bryan College in Sports Management.

Nate currently resides in Rockwood, Tenn. with his family. Nate and his family attend First Baptist Church of Rockwood, Tenn. where his dad pastors.
