Bryan College

Leah Thompson is entering her third season as the Head Coach of the Bryan College Softball program. Prior to coming to Bryan, she was the assistant coach for  four years at AAC conference rival Tennessee Wesleyan University where at her last season there the staff was named the National Fastpitch Coaches Associations' Region I Coaching Staff of the Year. Coach Thompson previously spent six years with the Rhea County High School program earning respected titles. As a player for then Carson-Newman College, she was named All-Conference in the South Atlantic Conference in 2009-2011. In the 2011 season, she was also named All-Region, an All-American, won the South Atlantic Conference Batting Title, and was named the Offensive Player of the Year.

Coach Thompson resides in Spring City with her husband Nathan and children, Luka, Paisley and Cora.
