Josue Fernandez enters his first season as a Student Assistant with his primary focus being a goalkeeper coach for both the Men's and Women's Varsity Soccer teams and as Assistant Coach for the Men's Player Development Team.

After playing for Tennessee Temple for three years, he finished his college career at Bryan as part of the 2015-16 Lions team who were Regular Season Conference Champions. During his career he also received academic honors.

Josue was coached for many years by Miguel Segura Vargas, former goalkeeper who was part of Costa Rica's national team in Italy's World Cup in 1990.

Josue currently resides in Dayton, Tennessee.
