Kyle Terry

  • Title
    Assistant Coach
Kyle Terry grew up in the Atlanta area and played high school basketball for Greater Gwinnett Christian. While in high school, he scored almost 2,000 points and accumulated numerous all-tournament and individual achievements. Terry is entering his first year of coaching at Bryan College, after spending the last 4 years as a player. He was a 3-year starter for the Lions, and also served as a team captain in both his junior and senior years. "I am very excited about returning to Bryan College to assist Coach Rekoske this upcoming season. I enjoyed my time playing at Bryan, and really have a passion to help make this program successful and win an AAC championship. I am also very grateful to Coach for giving me the opportunity to break into the coaching profession, and I am looking forward to learning from him," stated Terry. Kyle received a Bachelor of Science from Bryan in both Business Management and Finance, and is going to start working on his Master's degree in the spring. As a student, Kyle was an NAIA Academic All-American for two years, and an AAC Academic All-Conference recipient for three years. A career in college coaching has been a dream of his for awhile, and he is looking forward to the challenge that this season will present. In addition to assisting with the varsity team, Kyle will also be heading up the JV program this fall. Coach Don Rekoske had this to say about Kyle joining the staff: "Kyle was a hard worker and terrific leader for us as a player. As a coach, he is already well-respected by our team and will be an asset to both our JV and Varsity programs."
