Jordan Day

Coach Day enters this season as his first year as head coach. He has been a cornerstone of the Bryan Baseball program for over 16 years—first as a player and now as its next head coach. A 2012 graduate of Bryan College with a B.S. in Exercise Science, he competed for the Lions from 2008 to 2012 under former Head Coach Taylor Hasty. His dedication and leadership earned him a spot on the coaching staff in 2013, and he was then promoted to Associate Head Coach in 2022.

Throughout his coaching career, Coach Day has played an integral role in the program’s sustained success. He has helped guide the Lions to eight NAIA Opening Round appearances (2014, 2015, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2021, 2022, 2023), an AAC Conference Tournament Championship (2014), and an AAC Regular Season Championship (2018). His impact on player development is also evident, having coached three AAC Players of the Year: Justin Morhardt (2017), Fernando Garcia (2018), and Bryson Lofton (2024).

A graduate of Trion High School (Class of 2008), Coach Day has deep roots in both the sport and the Bryan community. He earned his Bachelors degree in Exercise Health Science from Bryan College in 2012 and lives in Dayton with his wife, Jessica—who serves as the Head Volleyball Coach at Bryan—and their two children, Kayleigh and Kyrie.
