LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN, GA - The Bryan Lions men's program put together an impressive showing at the Mountainside Stride Select meet, highlighted by event wins, personal bests, and national-level performances.
Leading the way,
Cal Drake opened his outdoor high jump season in dominant fashion, winning the event with a personal best of 2.06m. The mark breaks his own school record, hits the NAIA B standard, and ranks him 2nd in the nation following the meet.
On the track, the Lions dominated the 100m, sweeping 1-2-3.
Anthony Graybill led the way with another 10.92 victory, while
Mathew Pfister followed with a personal best of 11.29.
Zayne James and
Baron Bruehl added strong finishes as well.
The men's 4x100m relay made a strong debut, capturing the event win with a time of 45.08, while the 4x400m relay opened their season with a 2nd-place finish with a time of 3:39.84.
In the field,
Caleb Johnson secured an event win in the discus with a mark of 33.53m, continuing a strong day for the Lions.
The men continue to build momentum early in the outdoor season with strong depth, competitive performances, and continued growth across all event areas.
