Lee Flames Invite Recap - Outdoor Season Opener

CLEVELAND, Tenn. - The Bryan Lions opened the outdoor season at the Lee Flames Invite with a strong performance, highlighted by multiple personal bests and AAC qualifiers.

Anthony Graybill led the way with two standout marks, running 10.92 in the 100m and 22.09 in the 200m, both ranking 2nd all-time at Bryan and earning AAC qualifiers.

Zayne James added two personal bests in the sprints, clocking 11.32 (100m) and 23.77 (200m).

Mathew Pfister opened his season with an AAC qualifier in the 400m (50.72) and a personal best of 22.64 in the 200m, while Baron Bruehl recorded a personal best of 24.34 in the 200m.

In the field events, Aaron Dewhurst qualified for the AAC Championships in the pole vault.

On the women's side, Aubrey Groves ran a personal best in the 200m, while Galilee Raymer made her hurdle debut and Kennedy Groves had a strong start in the hurdles.

In the distance events, Emily Cathey secured an AAC qualifier in the 800m, and Carissa Wilson qualified in the 10,000m.

Overall, the Lions had a strong start to the outdoor season and will look to continue building momentum in the coming meets.
