DAYTON, TN – The Bryan College Lady Lions suffered their first conference loss of the season Saturday afternoon, falling 72-62 to visiting Milligan at Summers Gymnasium.
Despite a valiant effort led by

Brown was spectacular in defeat, connecting on 11-of-16 from the field, including 3-of-4 from three-point range. The senior forward scored in double figures in every quarter and kept the Lady Lions within striking distance throughout the contest.
Milligan jumped out to an early 17-11 lead after the first quarter and extended their advantage to 34-29 at halftime. The Buffaloes' balanced attack featured five players scoring six or more points, led by Semaj Clark's 18 points and 14 rebounds and Kenzie Campbell's 16 points.
The Lady Lions made their push in the fourth quarter, cutting a 16-point deficit to just 10 points with under a minute to play.
Autumn Davis contributed 10 points while
Kadee Ferrell added five points, five rebounds, and four steals in the losing effort.
Bryan was hampered by 17 turnovers, which Milligan converted into nine points. The Lady Lions also struggled from beyond the arc, shooting just 30% on three-pointers.
