Men's Soccer Voted 3rd for AAC Coaches Preseason Poll

MSOC Preseason

Dayton, TN - The Bryan College Men's Soccer Team enters the 2025 season with championship aspirations, determined to reclaim their position atop the AAC standings. After finishing as the AAC Conference Tournament Champion, the Lions find themselves ranked #3 in this year's AAC Preseason Coaches Poll—a placement that has only intensified their hunger to defend their crown.

"Being ranked third gives us extra motivation," said Head Coach Jeremy Davidson. "We know what it takes to be number one in this conference, and we're not satisfied with anything less. This team has the talent and experience to get back to the top."

The Lions' drop in the preseason rankings reflects the competitive depth of the AAC, where programs are constantly improving and last year's success guarantees nothing. However, the team's proven track record of excellence and championship mentality positions them as serious contenders to reclaim conference supremacy.

"Winning the tournament last year has given us a taste for what it takes to be on top at this level, and that has motivated us for more," said Coach Davidson. "Our returning players understand the standard we've set, and they're committed to maintaining that championship culture."

With a core group of experienced players and promising newcomers joining the roster, Bryan College appears well-equipped to navigate the challenges ahead. The Lions will look to use their championship pedigree and determination to climb back to the summit of AAC soccer.

The team opens their quest for conference supremacy when they begin play on August 19th against Berry College, ready to prove that their finish at the AAC Tournament last season was no fluke.
