Bryan Baseball Earns No. 5 Seed for AAC Tournament, Set to Open Against St. Andrews

DAYTON, Tenn. — The Lions officially secured the No. 5 seed for the 2025 WinWon Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Baseball Tournament, which is set to run April 29 through May 3 at Hunter Wright Stadium in Kingsport, Tennessee. Bryan enters the tournament with a 26-20 overall record and an 18-12 mark in conference play, finishing third in the AAC standings.

Bryan will open tournament play on Tuesday, April 29, at 3 p.m. against No. 8 seed St. Andrews (25-20). The tournament is double-elimination, with the top two seeds receiving byes on the first day.

The Lions' Initial Path:

  • Tuesday, April 29: Game 3 – No. 5 Bryan vs. No. 8 St. Andrews, 3 p.m.

  • Wednesday, April 30:

    • If Bryan wins Game 3, they will face No. 2 Tennessee Wesleyan at 6 p.m.

    • If Bryan falls in Game 3, they will play an elimination game Wednesday evening at 3 p.m. against the loser of Game 4 (Johnson vs. Montreat).

Both the tournament champion and runner-up will earn the AAC's automatic bids to the NAIA National Championship Opening Round.

Tournament Info:

  • Single-day tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students.

  • Tournament passes are available for $25 per adult.

  • All games will be streamed live for fans unable to attend in person.

The Lions look to build on their strong finish to the regular season and make a deep postseason run.
