The Bryan Lions Track & Field team wrapped up the regular season this weekend at the Lee University Invite with several standout performances and new personal bests—despite some less-than-ideal weather conditions.

Day 1 Highlights:

• Mikayla Gale had a huge breakthrough in the javelin, throwing 36.85m for a new personal best and currently ranking 36th in the NAIA.

• Elena Irwin crushed her 5000m personal best by 28 seconds, running 19:44 and securing a spot at next week's conference meet.

Day 2 Highlights:

• Parker Cabe set a new school record in the javelin with a personal best throw of 38.94m.

• Cal Drake placed 4th in the triple jump, breaking his own school record with another personal best.

With the regular season in the books, the Lions now turn their focus to the Appalachian Athletic Conference Championships next weekend. We're excited to carry this momentum into the postseason and compete for more personal bests and team goals.
