ATLANTA, Ga. — The Bryan College track & field team had a solid weekend at the Emory University "Thrills in the Hills" meet, turning in multiple personal bests, school records, and conference qualifiers over the two-day event.
Day 1 Highlights:

Cal Drake had a standout day, winning the men's high jump with a personal best of 2.05m, breaking his own school record. He also set another school record in the triple jump with a mark of 12.96m, hitting the conference qualifying standard in both events.

Brock Adams made his debut in the high jump and cleared a height well over the conference qualifier. Just 15 minutes later, he went on to qualify in the 400m hurdles, showing strong versatility.
Day 2 Highlights:

Mikayla Gale advanced to the finals in the javelin, continuing her steady improvement this season.

Kennedy Groves hit a personal best in the 100m hurdles, running a time of 22.33.

Brock Adams came back on Day 2 and qualified for the finals in the 110m hurdles, rounding out an impressive weekend.
With one more weekend off, the Lions are shifting their focus toward the final push of the season. The team returns to action at the Flames Invitational (April 11–12) before heading into the AAC Outdoor Conference Championships (April 17–19).
