DAYTON, Tenn. — The Bryan College softball team picked up two wins on Saturday afternoon, sweeping visiting Kentucky Christian in a conference doubleheader. With solid pitching, some well-timed hits, and heads-up baserunning, the Lions moved to 18-8 on the season and 12-4 in AAC play.
Game 1: Bryan 6, Kentucky Christian 1
Senior pitcher Denver Hogrefe was in command all game, tossing a complete-game gem while adding an RBI at the plate.

The Lions stayed hot in Game 2, scoring in four different innings and getting another strong outing from pitcher K. Smith to close out the sweep.

Kentucky Christian made it interesting in the fourth with a two-run homer, but the Lions answered with another run in the sixth and closed it out behind solid defense and Smith's steady pitching.
