CLEVELAND, Tenn. — The Bryan College track & field team made a statement at the Lee University Invitational this past weekend, putting together a string of personal bests and standout performances as the Lions continued their outdoor season.
Women's Highlights:

Rachel Tournay competed in her first-ever heptathlon, showing great perseverance across seven events. She clocked 3:15.76 in the 800m and threw 10.89m in the javelin to cap off her debut.

Anna Driller had a strong weekend, setting personal bests in both the 800m (2:23.38) and the 1500m (5:10.37). She also won her heat in the 1500m.

Juliana Sneed set a new personal record in the 800m, running 3:02.18.

Carissa Wilson etched her name into the record books, smashing the school record in the 10,000m with a time of 39:32.69, beating the previous mark by over two minutes.

Elena Irwin also had a breakthrough in the 10,000m, running a personal best of 42:30.00.

Mikayla Gale impressed in the field events, throwing a huge personal best of 28.09m in the javelin. She also tossed 9.16m in the shot put.

Kennedy Groves opened her season in the 100m hurdles, running 22.80 as she continues to gain momentum.
Men's Highlights:

John Olsen posted solid efforts with season bests in both the 800m and 1500m, running 2:00.58 and 4:16.62, respectively.

Brock Adams, bouncing back from injury, turned heads in the 110m hurdles by winning his heat and clocking a big personal best of 15.31 seconds.
