DAYTON, Tenn. — The Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) has announced its 2024-25 All-Conference teams, and several Bryan College men's basketball players have been recognized for their performances this season.
All-Conference Selections
Baugher had a standout season, earning spots on both the
First Team All-AAC and the
All-Defensive Team. He did a little bit of everything for the Lions, averaging
14.1 points, 9.0 rebounds, and 5.9 assists per game, while being a force on defense.
Gales, the team's top scorer, also landed
First Team All-AAC honors. He put up
21.0 points and 5.6 rebounds per game, proving to be a consistent scoring threat all season.
Johnson picked up
Second Team All-AAC recognition after averaging
12.0 points per game and shooting
38.5% from three-point range. His scoring ability and leadership played a key role in Bryan's success.
Freshman
Regale Moore made the
All-Freshman Team, showing promise for the future with
8.0 points per game while providing valuable minutes off the bench.
All-Academic Team
Several players were also recognized for their hard work in the classroom, earning
AAC All-Academic Team honors:
What's Next?
With the regular season wrapped up, Bryan turns its focus to the
AAC Tournament. The Lions enter as the
No. 5 seed and will face
No. 4 seed Johnson University in the
quarterfinals on Thursday, February 27, at 1:45 PM in Kingsport, Tenn.
