Dayton, TN - Bryan College's fishing team made waves at the 2024 Strike King Bassmaster College Series at Saginaw Bay presented by Bass Pro Shops. With standout performances, Logan East and Connor Giles have qualified for the 2024 Bassmaster College National Championship, set to take place August 22-24 on Lake Hartwell in South Carolina.

Logan East and Connor Giles:

Day 2 Total: 15 lbs, 1 oz
Overall Total: 27 lbs, 1 oz
Placement: 25th
East and Giles secured their spot in the national championship with a total weight of 27 lbs, 1 oz over the two-day event. Their consistent performance amidst challenging conditions earned them 25th place out of 200+ competing teams.

Turner Hart and Summer Dees:

Day 2 Total: 13 lbs, 1 oz
Overall Total: 25 lbs, 11 oz
Placement: 45th
Hart and Dees also delivered a strong showing, finishing 45th with a total weight of 25 lbs, 11 oz. 

Hunter Palmer and Eli Stevenson:

Day 2 Total: 11 lbs, 11 oz
Overall Total: 24 lbs, 9 oz
Placement: 66th
Palmer and Stevenson finished 66th with a total of 24 lbs, 9 oz, adding to the team's overall success.

Bryson Hatcher and Matthew Dopp:

Day 2 Total: 5 lbs
Overall Total: 15 lbs, 12 oz
Placement: 161st
Hatcher and Dopp managed to secure a respectable 161st place with a total weight of 15 lbs, 12 oz.

Victor Alford and Tanner Herndon:

Day 2 Total: 6 lbs, 3 oz
Overall Total: 18 lbs, 4 oz
Placement: 156th
Alford and Herndon also made their mark, finishing 156th with a combined weight of 18 lbs, 4 oz.
