Dayton, TN – The Bryan College's Athletics Department is thrilled to announce Lacy White as the new Head Shooting Coach. Lacy brings to the role over a decade of experience in the sport, a deep commitment to faith, and a proven track record of both competitive success and leadership.

Lacy graduated with a major in Criminal Justice and minors in Biblical Studies and Communications, followed by a pursuit of a Masters in Leadership and Business. Her extensive educational background, combined with her passion for shooting, makes her uniquely qualified to lead and develop the Bryan College shooting team.

When asked about her approach to coaching, Lacy shared, "Having been in the sport for over 10 years, I've had the privilege of learning from top-level coaches and shooters. I'm excited to bring this knowledge and experience to Bryan College and serve where God needs me."

Interim Athletic Director Clint McAuley expressed his enthusiasm about Lacy joining the team, stating, "In her last four years as a member of the team, Lacy has not only proven to be one of the most competitive and skilled shooters in the country but has also shown a deep commitment to Bryan College. We are confident she will be an incredible asset to our department, bringing knowledge, a love for the Lord, and a dedication to growth and discipleship."

Beyond the competition, Lacy has a unique interest in indoor plants, boasting a collection of 100 plants ranging from cacti to succulents. She also has the distinction of being the first college student in her family. Her journey into shooting began when a close family friend invited her to join his shooting team, a decision that led her to fall in love with the sport on her first day. Her father, also her coach, and her family's outdoorsman background have played significant roles in her shooting career.

Lacy's competitive achievements are notable, with multiple first-place finishes across various competitions from 2021 to 2023, including the prestigious Grand Prix international bunker tournament. White was also a SCTP international team member in 2022. Her dedication and skill have made her one of the most formidable shooters in the country.

As Lacy White takes on her new role as Head Shooting Coach, the Bryan College Athletics Department looks forward to a future of continued excellence and growth under her leadership.
