The Bryan College Athletics Department had the privilege of hosting Tanner Paumen, on Wednesday, October 23. Tanner is a highly sought after fishing recruit and wanted to do his signing on-campus alongside his family. Tanner stated that he chose Bryan first and foremost because of its insistence on putting faith first. Paumen had been looking for a smaller christian school feel with a fishing team. Coach Dustin Henderson and his program naturally, seemed like the perfect fit. Paumen is originally from Minnesota but he and his family recently moved to Loudon, TN, just an hour drive from The Hill. Tanner's hobbies include fishing, hunting, and playing guitar. When asked what his goals are when getting on campus, Tanner stated that his main goal is to get good grades and get a degree in business. After Bryan, he wants to become a sales or marketing representative for a fishing company. From all of us at Bryan, we are glad to have you Tanner, and can't wait to see what you do as a Lion.
