Cleveland, GA-  The Bryan College Men's Basketball Team traveled to Cleveland, GA to take on the Truett McConnell University Bears Wednesday night in a Appalachian Athletic Conference match-up. The Lions held their own and took down the Bears 82-73. 

The Lions came out of the gates ready to play in Cleveland. The Lions took an early double digit lead after a lay up from Logan Allen, a steal from Josh Baugher, which then led to a three pointer from Logan Allen forcing a TMU timeout and giving Bryan a 19-6 lead. With 4:44 left in the first half, the Lions would take their first 20 point lead of the game from a Dalen Gales driving layup. That bucket would force another TMU time out and give Bryan a 34-13 lead. Gales would go on to have a team high 20 points, along with 5 rebounds. 

The Lions would come out of halftime with a 40-25 lead. After attacking TMU with multiple successful inbound plays, the Lions were holding on to a double digit lead for seven minutes of the first half. After back to back missed threes from Bryan, the Bears made a run. Bryan's lead would eventually be cut to one with 6:50 remaining in the game after a TMU three, which forced a Don Rekoske timeout. 

Out of the time out, the Lions found their stride again with an immediate layup from Allen. But it was Sophomore Dalen Gales who took the Lions home as he scored 9 points in the last 6:50 of the game to help lead Bryan to their 10th win of the season.

The Lions are now 10-9 overall and 8-8 in the AAC. TMU goes to 9-11 overall and 7-9 in the AAC.
