FALL 2023 ATHLETIC HONOR ROLL

DAYTON, TN | On Thursday, the Bryan College Athletic Department announced the official 2023 Fall Athletic Honor Roll, which takes into consideration all varsity and junior varsity student-athletes. In order for a student-athlete to make the list, he/she needs to have recorded a grade-point average of 3.3 or higher for the spring term.

In total 159 made the cut, led by the Men's soccer team's 26 total players with a 3.3 GPA or higher.
 
Following were Volleyball with 22, Baseball with 22, Women's Soccer with 17,  Men's Basketball with 17, Women's basketball with 12, Martial Arts with 8, Men's Golf with 7, Softball with 6, Women's XC /T&F with 6, Fishing with 5, Women's Golf with 3, Shooting with 3, cheer with 3, and Men's XC with 2

The team producing the highest GPA was the Women's Golf team with a notable 3.70 with all 4 members hitting the mark. Following close behind was Martial Arts with a 3.60 and 8 of their 16 members making the grade.  Third in line was the Volleyball team with a GPA of 3.56, with all 22 members achieving a 3.3 or higher. Women's Soccer was 4th in line with a GPA of 3.52 with 17 of their 27 members achieving the honor. 
As a department, the Lions earned a GPA of 3.20 with 52.62% of the department above a 3.3 GPA.

In total, 42 student-athletes attained a perfect 4.0 during the semester, while 159 student-athletes attained a 3.3 or above during the semester.
