Cleveland, GA - The Bryan College baseball team traveled to Cleveland, GA to take on TMU in games 2 and 3 of the series. For game 1, Truett was the first on the board in the bottom of the 2nd inning. Going into the 3rd inning they led the Lions 5-0. In the top of the 3rd inning the Lions were able to respond by the way of a Dante Morton solo home run. Bass Cooper singled to left field bringing in Daniel Dryden to cut the lead to 3. TMU answers in the bottom half of the inning to go up 7-2. In the top of the 4th inning Danny Marquez doubled to right field bringing home both Devin Ogg and Bradley Prince. Bryson Lofton doubled to left field bringing in Dante Morton. The Lions take the lead 8-7 with a Bass Cooper home run that brought in both Dryden and Lofton. Truett responds in the bottom half of the inning to tie things up and in the bottom half of the 5th inning go ahead 9-8. In the top of the 9th inning Bradley Prince singled bringing in Alex Rollins. Keeko Garcia reached on an error to bring in Kade Cohoon. Dante Morton reached on an error bringing in Bradley Prince. Bryson Lofton hit a sac-fly to score Devin Ogg. The Lions take game 2 by a score of 12-9. 

For game 2, Bryan went up in the top of the 2nd inning 2-0. In the 3rd inning Bass Cooper hit a solo home run to put the Lions up 3-0. Truett scored in the bottom half of the inning making the score 3-1 going into the 4th inning. Bryan responded with a Bryson Lofton double that scored Kade Cohoon. TMU scored in the bottom of the 5th inning to make it a 1 run game. In the top of the 6th inning Lofton singled to bring in Kade Cohoon. Dryden hit a sac-fly that scored Parker Cosby and make the game 6-3 going into the bottom half of the 6th inning. TMU scored in the 7th inning to make it a 2 run game. The Lions were able to hold the lead and take down TMU in game 2 by a score of 6-4 and sweep the Bears.

• Dante Morton went 2 for 5 with 2 runs and 2 RBIs.

• Bryson Lofton went 2 for 4 with 2 RBIs.
• Bradley Prince went 1 for 3 with 1 run and 1 RBI.
• Ethan Walls was responsible for 6 strikeouts in the 3.0 innings he pitched. 

NEXT TIME OUT

• The Lions will be back in action to take on Montreat for game 4 of the AAC Conference Tournament and will be the number 3 seed.
